Sexy actress and comedienne Rufa Mae Quinto opened up about her struggles of migrating in America and being locked up during the pandemic.
In her interview with Pia Archangel for Tunay na Buhay, Rufa shared his life in the U.S as a wife to Trevor Magallanes and a mother to her 5 year-old kid, Alexandra.
Revealed Rufa, she and her daughter was not supposed to stay this long in U.S. Originally, they were meant to spend a 2 week visit in the country, but because of the pandemic, they were forced to stay.
The next thing, the actress is now in the U.S for over 1 year.
She then went on about how she misses working.
Due to constant trials, she was forced to work as a dishwasher.
“Tuwing naghuhugas ako ng plato, sasabihin ko, ‘After everything I’ve done, sumikat ako sa Philippines, nakapagpundar… Ito lang ba ang bagsak ko? Maghugas ng plato?’”
Added her, “Hirap na hirap ako nu’ng una. Umiiyak-iyak pa ako… End of the world na para sa akin nu’ng una ako dito,” she said.
“Ngayon naman na-adjust ko na… Sabi ko, okey na rin to. Nakikita ng anak ko yong tunay na buhay, di ba?” Rufa said.
LIVING TOGETHER WITH HUSBAND
For the length of their romance, it was Rufa and Trevor’s first time of living together, because of their career.
According to the actress, it is one of the silver lining that COVID-19 brought to her.
“Siyempre, ngayon mas nakita namin difference ng long distance sa near distance! Charot! Hahaha!” she said in an interview with PEP.ph
“Na-realize namin, ‘Ay, kumpleto ang bahay.’ Hindi kayo empty.
“Marami kayong malalampasan na pagsubok, kahit na nakakatakot, nakakalungkot, nakakabagot, di ba?
“Pero, we’re doing okay. Kasi nasu-survive ko naman dito.
“Kaya niya na rin kami buhayin, di ba? So, okay naman kami.” added her.
